A trippy ride! A number of animation styles and senses of humor are employed to tell the four dimensional journey of a number of characters and I don’t really know what else to say about it except that it is an example of what animation could be more often: disregard the confusing plot or silliness and focus on how images the likes of which cannot be created with a camera alone can create uniquely-voiced aesthetic experiences. That is why I recommend this film. It is an example of what we can do when we begin to let go of the prescriptions of traditional western imagery.
